Welcome to Ibex Town Car, a premium private transportation service based in Orlando, Florida. By accessing or using our services, including booking a ride through our website, phone, or any other platform, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this document.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Ibex Town Car’s services and establish the agreement between you (“the passenger” or “customer”) and Ibex Town Car (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
By booking a ride with Ibex Town Car, you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
- You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws during your ride.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Ibex Town Car reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time, and continued use of our services after such changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted via phone or email at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid charges. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup will incur a 50% fee of the total booking cost. Cancellations within 6 hours of the scheduled pickup time or no-shows will be charged the full (100%) booking amount.
No-Shows
A reservation is considered a no-show if the passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location within the waiting time allowance:
- For standard pickups: 15 minutes of complimentary wait time is provided.
- For airport pickups: 60 minutes of complimentary wait time is provided from the flight’s actual arrival time.
If the customer does not contact Ibex Town Car or appear at the pickup location within the waiting time window:
- The ride will be considered a no-show and charged 100% of the total booking cost.
- If the driver cannot locate the passenger and the customer has not made contact, the ride will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
Wait Time Policy
Passengers must be present and ready at the scheduled pickup time. We offer a complimentary grace period—15 minutes for standard pickups and 60 minutes for airport pickups (timed from the flight’s actual arrival). After this period, additional wait time will be charged at $20 per 15-minute increment. If a passenger anticipates a delay, they must promptly notify Ibex Town Car by phone. Maximum wait time beyond the grace period is 60 minutes. If the passenger exceeds this limit or fails to communicate adequately, the trip will be marked as a no-show, the driver will be released, and the customer will be charged 100% of the total booking cost.
Passengers are responsible for managing their time and belongings. Ibex Town Car will not accommodate extensive delays due to passenger negligence or oversight.
Lost Belongings Policy
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. Ibex Town Car is not liable for any items left, lost, damaged, or forgotten inside vehicles. While we will make reasonable efforts to locate and return items found by drivers, passengers must arrange and cover any shipping or transportation costs associated with the return of their belongings. Found items will be securely stored for 30 days, after which unclaimed property will be discarded or donated. Passengers should promptly contact us via phone or email regarding any misplaced items.
Modifications & Rescheduling
- Changes to an existing booking must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
- Same-day modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
General Conduct
- Passengers must behave in a respectful and non-disruptive manner at all times.
- Any abusive, threatening, or violent behavior toward the driver or other passengers will result in immediate termination of service without a refund.
- Passengers must follow all driver instructions for safety and operational reasons.
Seat Belt & Safety Requirements
- All passengers are required by Florida law to wear seat belts at all times while inside the vehicle.
- Passengers traveling with children are responsible for providing age-appropriate child safety seats if required by law. Ibex Town Car can provide child seats upon request, subject to availability.
Prohibited Items & Behavior
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
- Consumption of food and beverages is discouraged unless pre-approved by the driver.
- Weapons, hazardous materials, or illegal substances are not allowed in the vehicle.
Damage & Cleaning Fees
- Passengers are responsible for any damage they cause to the vehicle, including spills, stains, or excessive wear.
- A cleaning fee may be charged for spills, excessive dirt, or any mess requiring professional cleaning.
- Any intentional damage to the vehicle will result in legal action and financial liability for repair costs.
Driver’s Right to Refuse Service
- The driver reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if a passenger violates any safety policy, behaves inappropriately, or poses a risk to the driver or vehicle.
- In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and the passenger may be banned from future services.
Liability & Disclaimer
- Ibex Town Car is not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be issued for delays outside our control.
- Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. Ibex Town Car is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in the vehicle.
- In the event of a vehicle breakdown or mechanical issue, Ibex Town Car will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative transportation but is not liable for missed flights, appointments, or other time-sensitive commitments.
- Ibex Town Car is not liable for injuries resulting from passenger negligence, failure to wear a seat belt, or failure to follow driver instructions.
- By using our services, passengers acknowledge and accept all risks associated with ground transportation and agree that Ibex Town Car’s total liability shall not exceed the cost of the fare paid.
Third-Party Contractors & Liability
- Ibex Town Car may use independent contractors or third-party affiliates to fulfill certain transportation services.
- While we carefully vet and partner with reputable providers, Ibex Town Car is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or performance of any third-party drivers or companies.
- By booking a ride, passengers acknowledge that services may be provided by a third party and agree that Ibex Town Car bears no liability for any issues, delays, damages, injuries, or disputes arising from services rendered by independent contractors.
- In the event of a complaint regarding a third-party service provider, Ibex Town Car will facilitate communication but is not obligated to issue refunds or assume liability for the third party’s actions.
